SH6 Closure shoots - Hira convoy required

As always, there's no Range fees for members ***hint hint see the membership tab***

$50 Range fee per shooter (non-shooters and kids are free)

Lessons can still be booked via our normal "book online" tab.

Convoying in from the Hira end is required. Meet the convoy team at 9am for the 915 departure, show them your ticket, and make sure you have the same vehicle number plate you provided when you fill out the form.

The road they are using is a forestry road with plenty of gravel and dust, it can be done in a 2wd but an AWD/4WD is recommended.

Because of the SH6 closure, you must join a convoy to access the Range and the event. To join the convoy, you must sign a conditions of use waiver form, and show evidence that your vehicle is currently insured - acceptable evidence is a policy document showing the licence plate number of the vehicle they are driving, or a certificate of insurance (also known as a certificate of currency) from your insurance company.

You can send your form and insurance evidence ahead of time to felicity.connell@fultonhogan.com OR show it to the convoy team leader on the day - however people without both the form and insurance evidence will not be able to join the convoy.

Departing from the Range is easy - 12:15, 2:15, 4:45, 6:45 - just tag onto the convoy as its going past.

You can stay overnight on the range if you have self-sufficient camping equipment.

• This is primarily for those that need to sight-in Night vision and Thermal equipment.

The NMRH fundraiser hunters course will be open on these days – a course of 18 targets, there is a 1-time $40 donation per shooter if you want to get on this course - so far we have raised over $500 for the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter Trust.
