About the Event
Please RSVP so we can plan the bbq.
Free but Members only, if you know a member then feel free to tag along with them.
We want to do these nights regularly so you can meet your fellow members, help each other out and maybe learn a new skill (if you have a skill to teach let us know for future nights).
Intro to reloading, usually we run this as an individual lesson but we’re going to trial running it as a group, the goal will be to show everyone how to safely set up a press and dies and make a few rounds to shoot, through the lens of RELOADING FOR VALUE, there’s lots of rabbit holes you can go down for accuracy gains but we will be teaching what we have found to be the most cost effective tips to save you money and componentry.
You don’t need any equipment or components we will supply everything but if you have components or dies then bring them along and we will try to get everyone an initial load sorted.
If you already have a press, bring it along, we will get you set up with the initial load and you can start pumping them out on the night while we set up the other initial loads on our presses.
On the night we will have at least 3 press styles you can try out - single stage rifle, progressive rifle and progressive pistol.
We have a selection of dies and equipment available for members so before you rush out to buy anything send us a message or ask in the Discord and we might be able to save you some upfront costs.
Reloading obviously has its risks, when done right it is completely safe, we will have to get you to sign a waiver and we will be teaching you about safety but like everything you should be familiar with the safety risks and precautions, reloading manuals are ideal but there’s also some great video resources online (ultimatereloader/impactshootin/Hornadypodcast ect)
Ps if your not a hard copy person the Google something like “ADI reloading manual *.pdf” or even if you have a hard copy the pdf version of that can help you search for a load page number really fast.
