Stay at Peak View Retreat, our two-suite retreat beside the range, with a wood-fired hot tub, sauna and room for up to four. Then spend a session with an internationally accredited instructor at Peak View Range. Perfect for two couples.
Step 1: Book your stay

Step 2: Book your shoot
Book your range session online for your arrival day before you check in at 4 pm, or for your departure day after you check out at 10 am. Want to shoot during your stay instead? Request a mid-stay session in Step 3 and we'll book it for you. We're open Monday to Saturday and closed Sundays and public holidays.
Level 3: Master your shooting. Our most technical lesson: ballistics apps, DOPE, wind calls and speed-zeroing out to 700 m. Bring your own rifle and at least 40 centrefire rounds each (or add our ammo packs when you book). Set aside about 6 hours. Book once for your whole group and pick your group size: 1 shooter $345, 2 shooters $600, 3 shooters $825, or 4 shooters $1,040. Groups of 5 or more, please email us.
Steel Target Safari. No licence or experience needed. A 2.5-hour exclusive
session working up from rimfire to big, booming magnums, with your instructor, safety gear and photos included. $750 per person.
Step 3: Mid-stay sessions & extras (optional)
Shoot during your stay, or add a private chef's three-course dinner, sunrise yoga on the deck, or an in-house massage. Tell us your dates and what you'd like, and we'll book it and confirm.

Good to know
• Peak View Range is visit by booking only: no walk-ins. Our shop is online only, with pick-up at the range by arrangement; there are no shop visits.
• Range sessions must be booked at least 72 hours ahead. Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice incur a 50% fee unless rescheduled.
• The last 5.5 km is gravel; an SUV or AWD is recommended.
• Address: 158A Lower Flowers Road, Whangamoa, Nelson. Specific directions are given once you've booked.
